Critical Introduction to the Old Testament Syllabus

Designed to build a rigorous academic foundation, this course explores the origin, authority, and transmission of the Old Testament Scriptures. Students will study foundational topics such as divine revelation and text integrity (Inspiration and Authority), traditional versus critical theories of biblical development (Composition and Authorship), the ancient historical setting of each text (Historical and Cultural Context), and the historical recognition and preservation of the canon (Canonicity and Preservation).
