Hebrew I Syllabus

God chose Hebrew—along with brief portions of Aramaic—to reveal His character, promises, and initial covenants in the First Covenant Scriptures (בְּרִית חֲדָשָׁה, bə·rîṯ ḥă·ḏā·šāh, Jer 31:31; καινὴ διαθήκη, kainē diathēkē, Luke 22:20). Designed as the first entry in a two-part sequence, this foundational course introduces students to the spiritually rich language of the Old Testament. Students will develop practical language mastery through listening comprehension (Hearing), proper vocal pronunciation (Speaking), alphabet acquisition and basic syntax (Reading), and contextual theological insight into God's Word (Understanding).
