SERVANT SKILLS FOR EVERY CHRISTIAN

SYLLABUS

Course Description

God calls us all to be servants, to serve Him and one another, to do good to all people (Galatians 6:10), and to meet pressing needs (Titus 3:14). God gives each of us gracious gifts to serve (Romans 12:9–16; 1 Peter 1:9–11).

In this short course we will work together on developing our gifts and strengths for service and also consider how even our vulnerabilities can be an advantage in relating to others. We explore God’s concern for the marginalised, the needs of the generations from young to elderly and how best to serve each one (Luke 14:13–14; James 1:27).

You will be provided with many practical and helpful resources. Serving others today is a continuation of Jesus’ ministry and a great blessing to those who receive and those who give (Genesis 12:2; Acts 20:35).
