Seeking a qualified Minister who will be light within the community with the ability

to shepherd our friendly, family-orientated congregation.

The candidate should be knowledgeable with Scriptures and gifted to preach,

teach, evangelize, and equip the church for discipleship and service. 

Danbury is a mission field and the Minister should be mission-minded.

Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

o Preach and teach Bible class on Sunday A.M. and on Wednesday P.M.

o Visit members, shut-ins, nursing homes, prisons, hospitals regularly, with members.

o Establish prison and campus ministries, with members.

o Establish an outreach program & equip members; i.e. print articles, social media, public speaking.

o Conduct and/or attend home Bible studies.

The Minister will be a devoted follower/disciple of Jesus, passionate about

helping others live and grow as disciples, and make other disciples of Jesus. 

The Minister, under the oversight of the Men’s Leadership, will work and support the

vision of Danbury church of Christ.

Over the last fifteen years, the Newmarket Church of Christ has worked to build trust and friendships with our neighbours. The position of Parish House minister is an exciting opportunity to build upon the

established ministries serving Newmarket Heights and surrounding neighbourhood, explore and implement new ministries as discerned, collaborate with local schools and various organizations serving Newmarket Height’s and surrounding neighbourhoods, participate in the worship and life of the Newmarket Church of Christ. 

The Parish House minister will work closely and report to the senior minister. The Parish House minister will reside in the Newmarket Height’s neighbourhood to serve as a conduit between the neighbourhood and the Newmarket Church of Christ.

The Cornerstone chuch of Christ in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for a full-time evangelist/preacher.  

• The person who we will hire will have a desire to seek and save the lost, encourage and instruct the saints to do the same.
• Able to preach and teach the word from the pulpit and at the coffee table. 
• We have not put age or marital restrictions on our search criteria. We are much more interested in things like his heart, character, spiritual direction, a love for God and His Word, His people, the lost and solid doctrine. 
• We are also looking for openness to being shepherded as well helping us shepherd. 
• Our goal is to find someone who can be evangelistic as well as help us in our outreach.

BACKGROUND

Our congregation’s first gathering was January 16, 2022. We had 31 baptized believers who were committed to working and worshipping with us on that day. Today we have about 45. Although this is not extraordinary growth, we praise God for it. This growth has come from baptisms and from move-ins. 

Our congregation is mostly Caucasian with 7 minorities. Our original members came about due to our former congregation splintering and our average age is about 53. Many in our Restoration Heritage would describe us as ‘Traditional’. Though I am not partial to that term it gives a general description of our direction that includes, Male leadership (we have 3 elders), A cappella worship, weekly taking the Lord’s supper, believer’s baptism after hearing, confessing and repenting, marriage is between the two genders, compassion toward the lost and a desire to save versus condemn (John 12.44-50).

Our financial position is strong and salary will be based on experience. We want our staff to be concerned with his role and not be overly burdened with financial issues.

Willamina Christian Church is seeking a lead pastor, to teach and preach God's Word to the church body, share the Gospel, connect with the community and minister to those in need. 

• This person should be thoughtful, biblical and relational; with the ability and enthusiasm needed to build and grow our congregation. To guide our focus of advancing the Kingdom, locally and supporting the global mission field.
