The Certificate of Biblical Studies (CBS) is awarded to students completing one year of study with GLBC. Typically, students in the "Gateway Year" experience will qualify for this certificate.

FOLLOW A GUIDED CURRICULUM

Candidates may select a combination of courses from our Bible, Ministry, and Worldview streams plus complete a one semester Ministry Experience course to meet the requirement of 31 credit hours (students planning on two or more years at GLBC should take 32 credit hours in year one). In each term, course selections should equal two from Bible, two from Ministry, and two from Worldview. 


A CBS may be completed over the course of one to three years, allowing students the ability to tailor coursework to their schedule. See a sample Year 1 curriculum below.

How Much Does It Cost?

  • Our courses are very affordable—up to 20% of the tuition of comparable university programs.
  • The full tuition for a Certificate of Biblical Studies may be as low $3000 CAD if taken over the course of 1 year.
  • If you have a demonstrated financial need, you may apply to the GLBC Bursary after enrollment.
